so so much've happened since the last post at 18th Jan. close to 9 months of update if you bear with me.

31st Jan 06: saddest birthday of my life. resolved never to celebrate birthdays ever again.

14th Feb 06: never knew Valentine's day could be so lonely and heart-breaking. e day i received an SMS from someone i used to cherish alot saying he's "moving on". learning to pick myself up.

5th May 06: last papers of my 3-yr life in the Uni. marks the end of my life as a full-fledged student, yet the beginning of a new era in life.

16th to 21st May 06: Taiwan aka Graduation trip with Shirlynn, Kenny & Joseph. Fun-filled. :)

23rd may 06: Birth of my baby. Dun get me wrong. My baby ...

3rd June 06: "sold" what's little left of my youth to MOE; signed the Teacher's Agreement. Beginning of brand new chapter.

18th June 2006: Sweet sweet victory. Highlight of my hockey playing years in recent times. Brought home the Ladies Premier title, after 8 long years playing bridesmaid all the time. Sweet considering previous encounters with the opponents.

July to August is a blur. Missed this year's fireworks totally. Grandad's death anniversary. August is a depressing month.

1st September 06: Teachers' Day will never be the same again. Waited and was rewarded. Never thought i could experience love like this. feeling of being tugged & let go and of giving up but was revived. the rest is history...

I wish the team can be announced earlier. It will make my life less "floating", uncertain... Like, being dropped of a status I was so used to (no, i aint complacent over my place in the team). But, confidence is the key to success!!!

Sorry i havent been updating. Still feeling ill after the dry hot spell over the weekend.

National trials been horrid. *sigh* what comes around goes around. =)

Yup. that's what i've been busy and losing sleep over. Hope this way, some of the girls can remain not-so-clueless about the club activites and such. Much more things to add to the blogsite. (still looking for a calendar add-on, anyone can help?)

And this was made by me today...After pricking my fingers for like 40 times and getting glue all stuck to my fingers...TADA!!! I've made 3 Mensuration Period Calendar.

They're made of Felt material, with velcro and cute little symbols (with velcro too!) so that my pals and me can keep track of our last period and such!

they come with sticky tape on the back, so they can paste it up in their wardrobe..
and subtle enough not to let people (like my smelly lil bro) to know what it is!

Sorry for late update. Been an exciting first week of 2006.

BUT! 2006 sucked thus far. Fallen ill 2nd time this year...Great.. it's been like, only the 6th day of the year...Been having a cold since Korea, guess the hockey stuff going on are taking a toll on my body. Neh mind..let me update before i hit my pillow.

2nd Jan: Eng hwee's Bday, cancelled the KTV date cos of a family lunch at Aunt's place. Happy Belated Birthday HOOEH!

3rd Jan: KTV with HOOEH & Ting, gosh! my first KTV experience... i surprised even myself...this ang-moh speaking, potato-eating girl knows quite a few chinese songs.. and was actually crooning alongside with ting and HOOEH to mandarin songs. And must i say, Ting beats HOOEH hands down to the Karoke Competition. HAHAHAHA! but yeah, the belated birthday boy had a time of his life having a personal concert..=)

Met up with Kel, Jer, Ting & GLADDIE!!! (Welcome back babe! We've missed u!) for dinner at Crystal Jade XLB & ice cream waffles at Gelare later. Yummy.

4th Jan: IHG Hockey Girls Champs!! WOOHOO! Sweet revenge....yummy yummy. Nat Training after that. Shack...but HAPPY shack. =)

5th Jan: IHG Hockey Guys CHAMPS too!!!!! WOOHOOOOOO!! Double gold for the first time for TH! HAHAHAHAHA! SRC training in the evening. SHHHAcccKKkkKEDddd!

TODAY: ill. result of extreme body exhaustion. been waking up 6 each day for past 3 days, hitting the pillow after one am...plus the hot hot sun following the blardie rain...and super cold nights...

Right.. been busy with hockey (as usual) as test series (against HK) coming up in October. Worked for my mum during the 3-months hols. Now school's in full swing again. I'm buried under tons of assignments. In fact, writing a paper now. *fuming*

Oh, and working on a souvenir magazine on top of all the assignments.. I'm suffocating in fact. But no complaints, I'm doing that willingly. =)

Sent Pris off on Sat, she's off to US. Gladdie's at London doing her exchange program, totally not enjoying herself. But glad she's more or less getting used to life there. Still worrying abt her. Coach left 2 weeks back...

Funny thing is people are leaving one by one...Am i the only one staying put? People moving on with their lives, to new places...AIYAH!! why I lamenting over all these? It's NATURAL people move on. *smiles*

More importantly, I want my friends and family to be happy. Whatever you may choose to do, as long as your conscience's clear, BE HApPY! and Smile!

welcome back welcome back. i've been freakin removed from the internet world till today. had a really hectic week.. been cut off from the internet world..thanks to my mum's dial-up modem.

it's F**king slow. i was driven to the extent of counting the time in which another green bar appear from the last.

whoops. did i mention there's TWO of them? this is the smaller of them. the larger one's snuggling up in its cage, very violent i heard.

i see that kids nowadays are super frustrated at how things are..
then i begin to ask myself... was i like that when i was their age?

had supper just now at Fong Seng (near nus) and saw some young punk, which junhao pointed out to me... i looked at them.. and was thinking to myself.."gee.. they have something against themslevs or wat??! what the angry look? or just wanna act cool in front of their frens?" looked like shit if u ask me...wat's with all the hairdo and crap? black tee and 3-quad jeans which looked like they're going off with one slight tug...

i had never been like that..or rather, i think i had never been like that...

i was my lovable self, ordinary teenage life.. no vulgurities (until i enter uni, k.).. F word was a taboo (fuck is not one now)... even the ShiT word was one...no running away from home.. no skipping lessons for no apparent reasons.. loved school (still does)...no quarrels with parents (only minor conflicts, mind u.. it'd be weird not to have one anyway)...

i mean.. this is what teenage life should be right?

all roses and fun? i would say i pretty much enjoyed myself when i was 17,18,19..
being stuck in NJ wasnt so sucky as i thought it had been... afterall, they moulded me to become the kind of student who produced results at the end of the day.. so.. it's okay i guess..

it's hockey all day long, no worries, ocassional crushes on someone cute (stopped just before i turned 18...hehhehee.), the constant worrying over doing poorly in tests...

i had a normal teen life, but i liked that. come to think of it, i'm much more privileged than many of the junior girls i see around me.

at least i have my peers to grow and mature with...gees...those were the days..
